Galahs

Yep - another cool bird! They're a little more skittish than cockatoos, and their call is a little less obnoxious. But they're pretty common hanging out on front lawns, and I think they're just so cool!

    The do look cool. Cockatoo size, sort of?
    We're a two bird home again. We've taken in another "foster child," so Bidwell has company.

    Me Too! Wow, I had no idea that Australia is filled with so many beautiful birds and plants and fruits.... Amazing!

    we learned about Galahs in animal behavior! apparently pink cockatoos like to invade their nests and end up raising the galah babies so then the galahs think they are cockatoos and never learn who they're supposed to mate with! it was interesting, haha. it looks like you guys are having so much fun! i'm jealous and super excited for next semester
